Servo Power
Ground is common to servos and logic nodes but servo power is provided separately from logic power. The reason is to protect the logic nodes from suffering a voltage drop due to servo actions. A voltage drop can cause a microprocessor to reset.
The power for servos is isolated from the logic power on the Servo Adapter board. See HERE. Power for the servos may be greater than 5 volts. Six volts is typical. Supply servo power using the barrel jack on the Servo Adapter board.
