Excess communication overhead is avoided to make command and control quick and responsive. Display of dashboard and status information is separate from data asquisition commands and interaction.

Specific commands retrieve specific information as needed for efficiency. The effect of retrieving unneeded information is unnecessary overhead and reduces efficiency and effectiveness.

The general goal and objective is to get and display relevant information quickly. Commands can be as short as a single character providing a quick response and reaction in emergency situations.
